Alternative Armies Sci-Fi 6mm Miniatures Images

Why
After Alternative Armies bought the license for the Bradley Miniatures's sci-fi miniatures range, I realized that here there are some superb miniatures that I want to try and paint. So I did and I've realized that the whole range has incredible detailed miniatures.

How
All of the miniatures come unpainted and require some assemble. Some need a little bit more work. For me the Lionheart, Marksman, Flame and Tyrant tanks where quite tricky to assemble. The miniatures need little prepare time - assembling, removing unwanted parts (for infantry miniatures) and washing (for some miniatures, you just have to figure a variant to stick on and assemble, if you can, because many look tempting). Applying black primer and some coats of paints followed, two types of camos and a little care for showing up some details finished the paint job. It is quick and easy to paint in wargaming style, could take a little bit more if you want something else (many details).

Results
Under each photo that can be enlarged there is the name of the painted miniature, its code from Alternative Armies for ease of identification and a link that leads you to further images if you are more interested in a respective miniatures, since I have taken, for most of the miniatures, photos from different angles. "SL" is Star Legion Faction and "C" is from Colonial Faction, as for some of you could be important. You can you use the search function to find out more easily when you want to find something in particular.

Review
The miniatures line is composed of infantry, land and air vehicles and buildings. Among land vehicles, there are bikes, apc, spg, tanks and super heavy tanks and walkers. I like that I can buy one or a pack of miniatures, so for example I'm not bound to get all 4-minis contained in a pack of Tyros Laser Destroyer Tank if I only need 2. On their site, Alternative Armies have placed many images of the miniatures and they are conclusive when trying to decide what to buy (in fact is not hard, they simply just look good), and some are even with painting examples.
All the miniatures also have an affiliation, belonging to either Star Legion faction or to Colonial faction. The latter needs more miniatures, but this only if you plan to run a game set in a different sci-fi environment (no wargame rulebook, at least at the time of laying these words).
I like the jump infantry and the solution I found for showing them in action. I like Calydon Battle Tank, Trencher APC, Stalker Missile Tank and Lynx Scout Walker. In general, many miniatures have different options to assemble. The Corvo Dropship is made part from white-metal (turret, mg; as all other miniatures are) and resin, but the end result is astonishing, indeed as advertised, a "massive 6mm kit". The Colonial faction deserves to have more miniatures and the whole range should be expanded. Infantry and walkers especially. Maybe rules for wargaming could later follow, as it has a good potential in this direction (miniatures could be easily used for playing Epic).
Until then, we have miniatures with personality: they feel like sci-fi in the near future, have good details, good variant options and some nasty beasts to paint (thinking at the 3 superheavy tanks: Actium, Kourian and Ironclad). More and more units are released (the initial review took into account 26 miniatures, but they now have 'Mech and many new vehicles). For example, the 'Mech, Sekhmet, is very customizable in terms of weapons able to carry, comes in two variants, either walking or running, and is hull is full of resin, while weapons come in metal. With this 6mm sci-fi range you can use also other miniatures, available also from Alternative Armies (scroll down).
