DIY Cheap Plastic Houses

I bought a product from AliExpress that I have used with help from different plastic sheets from Green Stuff (like Green Stuff 361113 Small Rectangular) and bits and pieces from Games Workshop - 28mm miniatures (Necrons and others) and other objects. Because this AliExpress has a poor search bar, I quote here the right product as it appears:

”25/50/100pcs 2ml White/Transparent Color Empty Plastic Half Pan Watercolor Paint Grid Pans for Watercolor Acrylic Oil Paints”

I bought a pack of 100.

The plastic sheets from Green Stuff were cut into many little or medium length pieces and they were used for roofs, to capture an armoured look of a part of the house or just to simulate an interesting design like a wall made of glass as part of a house, as windows and doors (very obvious). In order not to be too obvious the doors and windows were in fact of many models, easily cut from the different types of Green Stuff plastic sheets. All of them were glued with a simple white glue. Leave 1 day to cure. The same for two coats of a sand primer. Paint windows and doors with a grey color. Then apply a wash suitable for sand colors. Then add details to make the houses really ”shine” (at this stage I stopped, but I think I will paint details soon).

Happy wargaming!
