From A to Z: Flying Grav Bikes

In order to make flying grav bikes, I do the flying steps:

1. Of course, having a grav bike miniature in the first step helps. Prepare it for painting and then paint it. Or you can do the painting after making the flying effect.

2. You can use a paper clip to cut in small pieces. For a mass effect cut in different heights to obtain a more real grav bike formation.

In this image there is a grav bike from Solar Empire Marines (Pfc C-in-C) prepared for mounting on a base to show the flying effect.

3. Then prepare some green stuff. Make some little "drops" of green stuff.

4. Use superglue to glue one drop to the grav bike and the part of the cut paper clip.

5. Prime black the green stuff and that part of paper clip.

6. Use silicone soldering gun to stick the new grav bike miniature obtained to a little base. You can even use something like a cover for screws like I use.

7. You can then place some white glue and pebbles and sand to make the base. The base should be a little bit larger then some used for a normal 6mm soldier. For how to base one 6mm soldier on to one base follow this link.

8. Paint the base, the stand for the grav bike and add some details to the whole thing. This is it. Enjooooy!

You can use this procedure for flying infantry like the Grenadier Jump Infantry (Alternative Armies).
