Wyrd Miniatures 32mm Miniatures Images - Malifaux

Why

Trying to diversify the scale at which I paint, but not with everything, but something that I want to enjoy painting and also play, I ended up collecting Wyrd Miniatures for their Malifaux wargame. Yes, the miniatures are weird and this is one of the reason I decided to collect them, for now, only from Resurrectionists Faction.

How

The miniatures arrived in a set that has them not assembled, but not in many parts that need to be glued, and not painted. The miniatures require little cleaning, but wash them good. Prime them if you want, otherwise apply paint and painting techniques directly. The miniatures come with a corresponding base. You can do a complex job on it also, in order to emphasize the miniature, or you can stick to basic basing.

Results

I have easily assembled and painted the miniatures. The paint job has to be revisited by my in the near future.

Review

The design of the miniatures is good, but I think that for the price that you pay, more details could have been added. In fact, some of the miniatures require it. The strong point of these miniatures is the overall design, weird, and for the Resurrectionists faction quite nice. But again, more details, even some parts for the base I would have wanted. I want to collect some other miniatures in the future, for the same faction for now, but other hobby priorities may appear. Malifaux is hard to play as a wargame, but the stories around this skirmish wargame are good, horror and sometimes can be too gore.
