Tiribomba is a monster truck made as enhanced all-terrain vehicle, with an empasis on "all", at least while on land. The wheels are made from a mixture of an alloy close to steel and experimental rubber. It serves the Pick's Brigade in the recon and search and rescue roles, but also in urban warfare.
How it was made?
First, from a metal sprue from Vanguard Miniatures (probably from infantry or turrets) the chassis was made. Round metal sprue for wheels and bars with a square diameter (they were measured and cut to fit my design, of course, they were made for a totally different purpose) to act as pilons to sustain the platform all sustained with green stuff. The same "stuff" was used to make a "bed", that is, the actual platform. On it many types of vehicles can be placed in order to deploy later, after traversing the difficult terrain with Tiribomba. As an example, a car from Strato Minis Studio was placed. The wheels are from a trailer from V15-101A Heavy Missile Battery on 4-wheel trailer, a 15mm miniatures from Ground Zero Games.
I am fond about this idea and how it came into being. It looks simple, but it demanded some work.
