From A to Z: Basing Infantry - one soldier on one base

From A to Z or From Plastic Bag to Battlefield: Basing Infantry - one soldier on one base.

When basing infantry, I decided to base one soldier/miniature on one base. In this way it can represent one soldier or one platoon, division etc., just like a tank, based or not, can represent one vehicle or a platoon, division etc.

Here it is an example.
I have used self-adhesive masking cover for screw. There can be many sizes of it, in this example I have used 9mm. They come in a pack of 12, so for me they are very useful.
I have based miniatures from the 6mm and Fleet Scale Range from Alternative Armies: FF1002 6mm Legionaries - 4 miniatures. I have used Universal sandable putty as basing material.
0 - gather all the needed materials.
1 - cut the individual miniatures and wash them.
2 - glue each miniature with simple hand craft glue (white glue)  on base. If the miniature is tricky to stick you may attach a small pot of green stuff and glue it for safety with superglue.
3 - prepare the putty, mixing it with water.
4 - put prepared putty on the base.
5 - wait to dry.
6 - if needed, place another putty coat.
7 - prime black - Vallejo.
8 - paint the base and miniature with 876 Brown Sand from Vallejo.
9 - wait to dry.
10 - if needed, and it was for me, give another Brown Sand coat.
11 - pick some details and paint Sand Yellow from Vallejo.
12 - wait to dry.
13 - repeat the process (steps 11&12) with other colors for as much as you see wish.

14 - do not forgot to say stop and move on to paint other miniatures, otherwise you will not improve. Resist temptation to do it perfectly. You will only do it to a certain point that you like now, but for sure if you will keep on painting, not for another year or months, because your painting skills will eventually improve, even before you realize it.

I have placed some photos here to track all this process.
