I just started to
paint Infinity miniatures produced by Corvus Belli. Although I’m at the
beginning of developing my painting skill and Infinity miniatures are very
detailed, if there were many pictures of painted Infinity miniatures I would
have done much better. Now, this “much better” needs to be explained. First, it
can mean good painting as you like it, but on the other hand it could well mean
good painting in the "cannon", if you want, of the Infinity universe, as
envisaged by Corvus Belli. The latter means using the recommended colors for
each part of the miniature and applying them in the mentioned way. A very good
painting meaning getting close to what you see on the Corvus Belli’s site. But
those painted miniatures were done by a professional painter, Angel Giraldez.
Every artist has his
own skill, sometimes with end results hard to imitate, so you better try
achieving something similar, but here “something” is the problem. You have an
option to stick to the exact colors (for example Brown Violet not Retractive Green from Vallejo when painting an American WW2 tank, of course depending on the theater of war) or use something similar, and be as close
as possible to the original, or imagine a new scheme of colors for Infinity
universe, as envisaged by you, for each affiliation and miniature.
So you have pictures
of painted Infinity miniatures or something to recommend? Post a link in the
comments section and also I want to know what is your impression on all of
these said.
